Welcome to the podcast Discover German with Stefanie. Why such a topic for a podcast? I want to convey a love of language learning. Because learning languages can be fun and I hope you can develop some interest in it, too.
What will this podcast be about?
Well, we are looking for explorers here.
In this podcast and on my channels you will get tips for beginners on grammar and vocabulary, tips for level A2, B1 and also a bit of German for advanced learners. But this channel is not just about grammar, because it’s mainly about the most beautiful parts of Germany and learning lots of words. We are going to discover a wide variety of places together, such as Hamburg, St. Peter-Ording, the island of Sylt, the capital Berlin, the documenta city of Kassel or the cosmopolitan city with a heart: Munich. It’s all about beautiful places in Germany and learning the language. I hope you can enjoy it that way.
What is so difficult in the German language?
In German, it’s often the little things that are important. German is not always easy. For example, Is it ‘man’ written with one n or ‘Mann’ written with two n’s? And why? Where is the difference? Why do some words have an h and others don’t, and within the word, is it rather pronounced ei or is it ie? So many, many questions. So please listen to the podcast and try to understand the content. You can ask questions at any time. I am also planning to speak slowly for you and use English here and there to help you.
