German courses are subsidised, but often not for long. The government has cut the budget for the courses. So you often have to take care of your language skills yourself. Some time earlier
I am a Magister Artium in the field of Anglistics. Maybe you have never heard of this before. These studies are about linguistics and English literature. And didactics, of course. So my major subject was English literature and my two minors English linguistics and psychology. This is also what teacher students are learning for their diploma. After my studies, the idea was to travel the world. I originally had the idea of teaching English with the TEFL certificate, maybe somewhere else. That didn’t immediately work. However, the TEFL certificate is not so much in demand in Germany at the moment. Unfortunately. But teaching German as a foreign language and German as a second language is a lot of fun, too. So, I switched to German and now I am here and I have a lot of fun teaching.
Today
And that’s exactly the fun I want to pass on here. There are a few things to discover. I also learn something new every day. Just like all of us. I am looking forward to having a chat with you.
